299 Greenwich Ave, Greenwich CT Second Floor
This Event will feature a film screening, light refreshments followed by a Q&A from the producers and members of the Spelling community. "Pointing Fingers" is the first feature-length fiction film written by and starring people with minimally-speaking autism.
The Film was written by Dan Bergmann who communicates by pointing to letters on an alphabet board. The Film is directed by Dan’s father Michael Bergmann an award winning independent filmmaker, writer, producer, and director. The film is photographed by Dan’s mother Meredith Bergmann, one of America’s foremost public monument sculptors. Each of the three Bergmanns brought their deepest professional skill to this project and we are so very grateful that they will be sharing their time and insights with all of our guests after the screening.
This is a charity event to benefit FlowerPetalsApdativeDance which offers low cost dance classes to individuals with Special Needs.
